European Master’s Programme in HR&Democratisation

The European Master’s Programme in Human Rights and Democratisation (EMA) is an intensive one-year academic programme that aims to form high-level professionals in the field of human rights and democratisation qualified to work as academics, staff members or field workers for inter-governmental, governmental, and non-governmental organisations. It is a multi-disciplinary programme reflecting the indivisibility of Human Rights, Democracy, Peace and Development.

In 2017, EMA celebrated its 20^th Anniversary and we commemorate the 87 Portuguese EMA graduates (see list) and all the EMA students who attended the 2^nd semester in Coimbra (see list).
